I flew the reverse portion of this flight in June (SQ12) and was seated in 11k, as everyone else was boarding, Keanu Reeves walks in and sat where you are seated! Quite a surprise!!

Eddie Khoo haha! I did! I caught with him at the immigration line, as well at the baggage claim at TBIT. He was traveling with the director of the John Wick movies. They were both super cool and obliged when I asked to get a picture with both of them. It was great way to end a flight that was rather short due to strong tailwinds. Safe travels!

You're welcome Maria. Etihad definitely have one of the best hard product first class in the skies, but the service and food/drinks on Singapore Airlines can't be beaten. Not even by a mile! :)

Thanks again Rory. Some of the 777-300ERs have 1 row while some have 2. I prefer the single row aircraft - makes the experience feel a lot more exclusive! Plus it makes economic sense for the airline as I rarely see all 2 rows fill up

PS: Just watched a vlog on the new SA first&business class on they're new generation A380 .Innaugral flight is DEC 2018 from Singapore to Sydney. The First Class Suite looks amazing with its double bed. No need for it to be made up by the FAs as it is permanent. Looks like a Hotel Suite :)

The new Suites reminds me of the Etihad Apartments. I'm a bit disappointed that the seats can't be together as well so you can dine with your travelling companion. Also there's no shower (not that it's a necessity). But still worthy of a try (and a video review for you to watch!) ;)

There were TWO in flight supervisors (purple uniform) on this flight?!?! At 7:56 the steward greeting at the door was a purple, but at 12:11 the stewardess setting up the table wad also a purple?? Usually there is only one purple on each flight

Thanks Steve. I've got a backlog of flight videos to do at the moment, and I've got a lot of upcoming flights which I'll be reviewing too! Too many videos, so little time. Don't eat too much from the lounge, since ANA lounges would usually only offer standard foods, as compared with the delicate foods and drinks from the Singapore Airline first class cabin

Unfortunately SQ doesn't do "free" limo transfers, even with first class (unless there's a special promotion). I booked the hotel and limo through a SQ stopover package. It costs extra but at a slightly discounted rate due to the deals the airline has with local hotels.

You need to ask for it John. They load enough food so each first class passenger can have one of every item on the menu, so you are entitled to your share of caviar :)

That's a good question. I booked the Ritz Carlton through Singapore Airlines. They usually offer a special hotel deal that includes airport transfers and breakfast. It's either the airline or the hotel then that booked the vehicle? That I can't answer...
