My first and last trip to Toa Payoh was almost 40 years ago. My impression of Toa Payoh then was visiting a so-called one-room flat unit. Actually there was no room but tenant separated his bed and dining hall with a curtain. We all should be grateful these days for all the amenities and good environmental settings in Toa Payoh today. Look forward to visiting this township again.

West Market & Food Centre is located in a residential area, so it’s mostly frequented by locals, and during lunchtime, we can also spot office workers. There are a wide variety of choices at this location, and we found the green wonton noodles from Too Zheng Noodle, topped with flavorful char sin,to be truly delicious! In the surrounding area, we’ll find convenient shops where everyday items for HDB residents are available, and you can observe interactions among familiar people. The down-to-earth and vibrant local atmosphere came across vividly in the immersive footage.✨☝️ The video even featured the famous “Mountain Cat” variety known for durians!! Y & I

It was middle of HDB residents area. But it was also near to Industrial zone. You might not see a lot office workers as i went there in weekend. Thanks for your support Y & I 😊🙏
