+MrKesavaraj Looking forward to our visit in April. Some people say the Long Bar is a tourist trap, but I can't imagine coming all the way to Singapore and not enjoying a Singapore Sling (or 2) at the very bar where it was created.

+Steve Glave There is no such thing as a tourist trap - I've been many places. Just have to be smart. Long Bar, locals and tourists same - 35 USD for a Singapore Sling and a Diet Coke tonight. Pricey place, ppl go for experience. Best thing about Long Bar - live band good; can eat the peanuts and throw shells on floor, tradition; they let you keep the glass with Singapore Sling Raffles Hotel on for an extra $5 or so... Happy travels...
