Just go HongLim, Amoy street and Chinatown food complex. These three places would have given you top hawker fares for all food. Btw, very few locals will go Tian Tian. We all have our own Chicken Rice preferences.

Yes, those uncles really make good tea and coffee. When I worked in Singapore between 2000 and 2004, me and my girlfriend (now wife) loved their tea with milk.

Welcome to SG. The char kuey teow u eaten is usually stir fry with half cooked sea cockles tats y it’s not fully ripe👍 most places are either half or uncooked or juz blanded in.. for prawn mee u should try the Bedok reservoir one but usually locals will know 😅
Mr Leung needs a break from 留守香港 LOL. He goes to Singapore, Japan(his favorite), etc when he takes a break.

The way to eat kuay (kueh) pie tee is just like eating sushi, by putting the whole thing into the mouth and chew, in order to savor the blast of various flavors and textures inside the mouth. The way you have eaten as shown in the video, you won’t get to enjoy the intrinsic mouth-feel of what the kueh pie tee is supposed to provide.

That isn’t squid inside the Outram Fried Kway Teow, it’s cockles 血蛤
That is not cuttlefish in the fried kway teow. Those are blood-clams (See Hum in cantonese). Full cooked or half blanched depends on individual. And please Tian Tian chicken rice is pure tourist food.
