During Cory's time and Ramos' time, most of the government owned industries were sold. Cory even sold a few to her relatives. And the pathetic 60:40 FDI policy was even a win for them. The current 60:40 business ownership policy should be repealed. It's not at all fitting in todays economic atmosphere. Look at Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia now. Vietnam is even fast catching up. There is no comparison Singapore is richer and it shows everywhere right from the cleanliness of the streets to the design and quality of the buildings. Most of the condos in the Philippines are very small poorly designed use low quality materials and put toilets right next to showers. On the other hand Singapore condos are much larger better materials better designed. Only thing is Philippines is much cheaper. If money were no object i would live in Singapore over the Philippines but being an average Aussie my budget would not stretch that far so it would be the Philippines for me.

They can't be blamed because here in Philippines, you got your profession but the salary here is very low because our government is corrupt unlike in Singapore.
