Agreed - perhaps for 2020, some cameras can be placed on blimps/drones like London and HK. Also besides Fullerton, the countdown can be projected onto the MBS, also with the Merlion as a background, so one glance and entire world knows that's a Singapore's count down.

Its a shame. All the major cities in the world focus their fireworks on their iconic structure/buildings, eg Sydney Opera House, London Big Ben, etc. Where is Marina Bay Sands tower in the countdown?

Vernon Tay so ur proposing that Singapore should place fireworks on top of a hotel? You failed to account that it’s a place for tourists to rest, and given the towers’ location, it’s a perfect spot for people to enjoy the fireworks ( the MBS towers are located right beside the Arts Science Museum, which was featured on the right of the video)
