As a Singaporean, my whole family usually will go for a holiday retreat for 3 nights in JB town area at least twice a year and my favorite hotel is either KSL or Holiday Villa, although never been there I heard Kulai is popular for their Sea -Food as its very close to Pontian (kukup) a distance away correct me if I am wrong ? 😀😀😀

It’s very simple. U can’t promote kulai or other spots if the local authorities can’t even be bothered to do so. How do we get to Kulai via public transport? Will the Msian tourism agency or any authority help? Y promote what’s there when there’s no info how to get there! Msia has enormous tourism potential. But the relevant authorities have been tidohing!

Yes Singaporeans should go further north for foods or leisure. Me too dont recommend JB. Go to Kulai, BP, Muar, Yong Peng, Melaka. Nor crowded and cheap too.

There are various buses from JB Sentral or Larkin to the different cities bus terminal. However it’s still best to drive or rent a car to travel around the smaller cities.
