I dont think anyone were sent with the intent to get hurt. the best players can be affected by stress and get hurt in training or on the actual competition ground - we should celebrate the spirit of the games not criticise a poor performance.

@@naniroslan3671 china is extremely competitive. Only the top notch of elite divers can represent their country in olympic and world championship. If one cannot perform or decline in capability, he or she can be immediately downgraded or disqualified from chances to participate in prestigious competition. Meanwhile in malaysia, the veteran athletes have been coming back and forth to represent our country in prestigious competitions. There are not as many new talents coming in compared to china, neither are the selection criterions for qualification as much rigorous.
