Singer 201, 15, 1200 Potted Motor Removal

Everybody thinks these are so hard to remove and, judging from some of the pictures I've seen of butchered screw heads, I guess they are without the right tools, techniques, and a few little tidbits of knowledge thrown in the mix. There is an easy way to do anything on a sewing machine and it always pays to ask before destroying something. :-)

thank you, I'm in process up cleaning and servicing a 201 and 15 and rewiring motors! wow great I came here tonight and saw your tutorial. I need to convert a 66 redeye to a treadle. You planning on doing a video on that.

I'm not sure what you mean. All 66 Redeyes are already treadle-compatible, you just put it in the treadle cabinet and put the belt on it, so I'm a bit confused as to what I can make a video about. :-)
