Singer 66 or Singer 99 , what one would i keep ...with a twist !

I hold on to them for ya lol ,,, unfortionatly need to ruduce my collection and make room for other machines at the same time , hard choices for shur and i wish i had a house to keep them in but i rent and one day this shop will have to go , just preparing and reducing my stuff , it wont all fit in my camper ha ha ha , take care talk again soon

🕸 Hello Dawson! I agree with you that they are both wonderful machines however, I would most definitely keep the red eye 66. Interesting curve ball at the end of your video, I was sort of expecting a scary picture to flash up on me 😅. Happy Halloween! Beware of all the ghouls 👹🎃

Scary just choosing machine to sell , didnt really need to scare you guys more , ive sold a bunch and i will explain more in the future but for now i got to go see what happened to the ending of my video.....take care and hope to talk again soon

I would choose the 66. The stitches on the back side are just that little bit cleaner and neater.

Thats just a small adjustment on tention but i do think the 66 does a more consistently clean stitch id have to say ....thanks for watching and if there are any machines you would like to see let me know as im gathering info on what you guys would like to see so i can brjng more content on sewing machines ...take care my friend

I would pick the 66. I have both also. I sew my jeans and shirts. I use a Singer 15-88, but I also sewed a buttoned shirt on my 99 hand crank. If I had to choose. I would take the 66. The only problem with it, is the lack of backstitch. But I can do that by hand sewing, or rotate the fabric. Anyway, it will be better for you to sell the 99, as it easier to move... Thanks for the nylon treadle belt tip, could be usable for me.

I use my 201 or my 15-91 for jeans and one time i came out to my shop in my pajamas and noticed my crotch seem was open like 5 inches so i sewed them back together on my model 27 treadle in my underwear.......my wife asked after i came back in the house ,,,,,Did you sew those sitting in your underwear ? I replied yes ,,,how's it look .......ya i know TMI right ,,take care thanks for watching ...

66 RedEye is quite popular nowdays. I think it deserves to be sold for a good customer who interestning in machnes with table. 99 with crinkle finish can be a main machine for simple work/cloth repair. I prefer the 99.

The 99 wouldn't be so hard to choose between if it was just standard paint but being the crinkle its so hard , i love the red eye and the 66 with being so big moves so effortless but like you say the smaller size makes for easy projects , see hard choices, guess we will have to wait and see ....take care hope we talk again soon ...
