Lovely video sir - I have heard the songs of Yaara Dildaara so many times but always missed this song. Yaara Dildaara truly had several gems - an example of an album that did not need the success of the film to become a classic. Mr. Bhupinder Singh truly had a wonderful and unique tonal quality. Jatin ji you presented the programme about Bhupinder singh ji so beautifully that i am sure that no one can present the way you have presented covering every thing so beautifully and also in details. I am short if words about the way you told about Bhupinder singh ji so nicely. I like all his songs and all the songs he sang are really gems among gems. Great were the music directors who composed songs for him like. Madan Mohanji, kanu roy ji, jaidev ji, R. D. Burman ji and the maximum songs he sang for R, D. Burman ji. His voice was all together a different type of voice and he always sang songs in his own style. Jatin ji Lalit ji you too are a very talented music directors some of your songs are really very melodious and unmatchable. They are really gems and are immortal. Music I think over the period from 1945 and now has been changed a lot. I remember film Mahal's songs composed by khemchand prakash ji i can say all the songs were composed amazingly and the composed which is done now a days is totally different and sorry to say it has deteriorated. No words for the great composer sajjad hussan, Ghulam Mohd., Salil chaudhry, S. F. Burman, Naushad ji and shanker jai kishan ji etc.

Bhuppi is short or nick name in Punjabi for Bhupinder. As, I understand his father was a music teacher at Khalsa College, Amritsar .Ho ke majboor song was sung by prakhand pandits of that era. Rafi sahib, Talat ji, Manna da and a new comer Bhupinder . He acted also for his part of the song. He was a great team singer and performed nothing less than masters. His one of the best is with Asha ji "kissi nazar ka intezar aaj bhi hai". When you listen that song ,you cannot imagine ,any one else singing that song. What a unique voice and talent he had ! Raj

Great tribute to a great musical personality. Now I m 62 and still remember in a Pancham-da's program in Kolkata, somebody was playing base guiter, subsequently introduced him as Bhupinder Sing-ji the singer and we got awestruck bcoz by that time among others the duet song with Ashaji 'Jab andhera hota hai' was superhit n we used to sing the song without knowing the person physically.
