I'm a listener of kpop for 15 years or more. Red Velvet has the best discography of that industry. By far. Technically untouchable, always interesting, and quality in every b-side.

I feel like the way she felt discovering the velvet side was exactly how I felt when I was first getting to know Red Velvet. I loved the songs I knew so far but I thought that was THE sound of Red Velvet (Power Up, Russian Roulette, Red Flavor, mayyyyybe also Peekaboo at this time) and then I watched someone react to all their MVs and when I got hit with Be Natural and Automatic my mind was blown. And the range just grows from there, it's incredible and why (aside from also their ridiculous skills) I love Red Velvet's music so much - you can never be bored. ❤

You know, it's so great to see RV thrive, since their first year together was hard for them and especially SM due to everything that happened that year. If you didn't know in 2014: 1. Jessica was fired from SNSD/Girls Generation 2. Sulli (RIP) decided to leave f(x) 3. Kris Wu & Luhan (formerly of EXO) filed lawsuits against SM, then left EXO in 2016 Then, when Yeri joined RV in 2015, people disliked her immediately for basically no reason. So, life was tough.

RV is one of the groups whose debut defined the beginning of 3rd Generation, but they do carry a lot of 2nd gen....call it "sensibility"...with them, more so than other 3rd Gen groups like Mamamoo. SNSD was the quintessential early 2nd Gen group. f(x), the now largely forgotten group SM debuted between SNSD & RV, was very experimental, but still clearly operating within 2nd Gen boundaries. SM did both Jung sisters, Jessica & Krystal, incredibly dirty!

I've been meaning to say this for some time but...when there are guest reactors on, I wish the host would interject a little less. Takes away a bit from a fresh reaction. No offense, I mean it's your channel, so you can do what you like with your content. Just voiced what I've felt during so many guest reaction videos.

I hear this truly however between excitement and wanting to get more commentary from the guests it happens naturally.
