I've always thought this was the only performance of Dimash that we'll,er was embarrassing. But wisdom enter sometime later and I have gathered more positive rather than negative😊 eg his energy level is impressive,his feat of learning this fast pace English lyrics when he doesn't speak the language,outstanding! I have just one thing to say, genius ! Whoever says it wasn't so great, well, let's think about it a second. To learn a song like this in a foreign language in 5 days, to make the arrangement and to deliver it like that, full of energy, charisma, dancing and interacting with everyone in the studio, inviting in even the people backstage....all this under the pressure of the biggest competition of your life......well, wow. I honestly like it more than the original...as you said Barry, it makes me happy and to love this kid more. I don't think I know someone who could deliver this like him in 5 days, even if he/she is an English speaker...so...there's my opinion 😉

I don't like this performance but Dimash has no bad songs or performances. Even when sick [Daybreak] or nervous [SOS] he is still good/perfect. But he has very good performances with other genres like in: Screaming, Screaming (Idol hits), Give me your love, Jamaica and Queen medley (On Facebook) to name some!

Dancing and singing in the same time.... the energy....👍❤👏 and it made me happy too i am 59 and i was just dancing and singing with him❤❤❤ can't beleve that it didn't rank more !!!! What were they thinking !!! It was just a mini concert from him❤❤❤ and i agree with you that it was not fair to compare it with his other dramatic songs

Dimash was in a competition and showed his diversity and going outside the comfort zone. Frankly I am glad you did not listen to others about this song! His choices throughout the competition showed just how he could perform any type of song! he is just that awesome! :-) He really showed his love for MUSIC- no matter what type! You will need to watch one of his concerts online and you will see his concerts are non stop energy of ballads and upbeat songs!

the competitors in the Singer show had different requirements that they had to fulfill each week... The Week of this song he was assigned this song... he didn't get to chose... and he had misgivings about it... It was his lowest score in the entire show...

I completely disagree with them OI love this performance. Those are the people who expect crazy vocal acrobatics, dramatic, genius types of songs are deluded and not realistic at all. Dimash should never limit his music to cater to these so called 'fans'.

Just Dimash playing with genres and styles. It's fun. Nobody is crazy about the song per se, but Dimash is always an interesting experience from the sublime to the beautiful to the ridiculously incredible. I like it and think he pulls it off considering his normal style of sorts. But Dimash has great energy. Check out Give me Your Love...a song in the style of MJ. Dimash pulls off some great dance moves. Someday would you react to Dimash duet with Sundet perfoeming Notre Dame de Paris? Thank you Barry. Always enjoy taking the Barry bus.

Dimash was like a little young boy who was having a good time, I never critized his English knowing his native tongue as Kazakh & Russian and no English background , I really enjoyed this performance of his, either you love him or not, whether you are proud of him taking this funky music or not. like an unconditional love, Thank you Barry,. 🤩🇺🇸 He has improved so much with his English and he showed it when he held a sold out concert in New York, USA last December of 2019.

That's what Dimash has ... He is able to interpret an Ogni Pietra and jump to an Uptown Funk passed by the Go Go Power Rangers (which he also interpreted) leaving us stunned since everything does it very well ... complete as an artist and that's why we love him so much.

If you are a real performer you should show all your talent not only in voice technique but also in many ways of singing either if that is a pop, rock, ballad. Dimash know everything the control is always there. This version of him Uptown funk I love it I only knew the song bec.of him I didn't know that the original singer of that is Bruno Mars. And I love Dimash version period.

The first time I heard this I thought the song was beneath him based on his previous songs but after studying him and getting to know his fun side it makes me happy to see him acting young and having fun. The song is so fast it doesn't allow him to sing his best but I think if he did more like this we would get used to it. I love his Michael Jackson tribute "Give me your love" which is young and fun. Maybe you would like to review that?

I love this performance, actually. And yes, he is a good dancer, you can see it on Give Me Your Love . Or Durdaraz (NY concert both), full of energy, such as Screaming Idol Hits (with a surprise on the song). As you said, he has so much fun, and so is the audience. Have a good Sunday Barry!

I think people usually say to skip this one because it's not the best performance and they don't want to "waste" the reaction. Although I don't care for it, I must admit it does highlight 1) The orchestra is great, as usual; 2) It shows a side of Dimash you don't see as often...to the point we almost forget how young he is; and 3) He does seem to be having fun - it always amazes me how everyone is familiar with the song.

I bet, if many would not have known the score he had in the singer, they would have judged differently. I suspect people get influenced. I loved it and I do not care how others think about that. Tastes differ. I still think he did a great job !
