Last Saturday I was at Dimash’s concert in Budapest. The concert was fantastic and 2 hours and 40 minutes long. It was my fourth Dimash concert. Waiting for him to come back to Europe soon. He is the best singer in the world (according to me) and a very humble man.

I too at first thought it was a guitar, but in fact it's the domra. And if you've been listening to Dimash for any length of time, you know you can't put him in a creative box. Always evolving and expanding.

The instrument that looks like a guitar or acoustic guitar is actually a traditional Kazakh instrument called "dombra". We can see him using this instrument in the songs "Dudarai" and "Adai+Daididau" or as part of the Durdaraz arrangement!
