Yes and she never sounds like she's shouting! It's so effortless and still maintains the "singing" sounds. I get tired of all the shout singing on these shows...ugh. My brain gets tired. Aretha, Whitney, opera- they never shout, but rather sing powerfully 💝

I enjoyed watching Gracie perform on the show last week. She really is a great singer. The Voice Coaches always talk about song choice, and I think if she had sang Anyone, or just about any other song, that she would have gotten at least one of the Coaches to turn their chair for her. The song she chose, she did well enough with, but didn't really allow the coaches to see her for who she is, and what she is capable of doing.

Impressive. Those phrase endings require vocal control and a brain firmly switched on; you can't simply "sing how you feel" and "feel the song" when focusing on learning technical phrasing for each line. When she had to eliminate the vibrato you could clearly see the expression on her face and her body language; she was no longer "in the zone" enjoying singing, but actively having to think about how to modify her natural singing style, remaining still instead of swaying from side to side.
