He wrote the music but when he wants a song in a different language to his native one he usually gives a lyricist an idea of what he wants and gets them to write it. With his busy schedule he doesn't have time to write all of his own music so he also works with various composers and is frequently asked to do movie soundtracks for which the music is often adapted for his vocal range.

Dimash is a master composer. He composes all of his own songs. He gets his words put into English or whatever language he needs. Healso sings songs from other composers from around the world but, every song he sings no matter who the composer, he does all the production. He plays many instruments on his songs too. Dimash writes his own music, and his repertoire increasingly includes compositions of his own composition, including this song #Fire. Other international composers also write songs for him. The most successful and fruitful in this regard was his tandem with the Russian-Ukrainian composer Igor Krutoy. The only song he composed both music and lyrics, is one called Omir. He has two versions. One has an mv with it showing Dimash’s life, from babyhood to now. The other, he sings sitting at a keyboard and his brother Mansur plays guitar, both are very special.

Excellent reaction! Igor Krotoy (man playing the piano) wrote this song for Dimash. The instrument is called a kobyz, an ancient Kahzak instrument, Dimash is from Kahzakstan (sp?). Конкретно эта песня написана им . Он не пишет тексты к своей музыке, просто поэтам задает вектор мышления. Его стихия--это музыка! Примерно третья часть концерта наполнена его собственными произведениями, еще треть -- написанными специально для него, остальное каверы, которые обязательно аранжированы в его стилистике либо им самим, либо его другом аранжировщиком.

Ну нет. Из каверов только SOS, но поскольку это часть пьесы, то кавером не считается. Потому что пьесу может исполнить любой исполнитель, на нее нет авторских прав на использование. Все остальные песни - собственный репертуар Димаша, написанный или аранжировпнный специально под него
