@@CamiPetyn he hits notes on that song live that could attract animals from a mile away haha. Also, if you want to hear his low voice, other songs on the album do that (Built by nations / The Weight of dreams) - two of the heavier songs on the album (kinda the opposite of this song here haha).

Even on this song, that G5 note gets a little higher in the studio recording. Here, he does the same note three times. On the album, the second note is higher, and the third is somewhere in between. (No I can’t tell you what the note is)

Three are brothers (lead singer and guitarist are identical twins). The drummer is a childhood friend. I’ve heard this in concert and the singer is amazing live. The guitar player does a lot of solos in concert and is also killer. Anyhow, really liked your reaction.

***also***, they wrote _”Highway Tune”_ when they were 14/15 (which is absolutely insane in itself) and they have come VERY far since! Especially in terms of separating themselves from similar sounds and creating their own unique musical image! You have a very exciting journey ahead of you haha; wish I could forget their music only to experience it for the first time again! Great video! :)) _edit: grammar_

(THE LIVE IS MUCH MORE INTENSE THAN THE STUDIO VERSION) "ADO" WILL CERTAINLY HAVE A SHORT CAREER DUE TO THE WAY SHE PUSHES HER VOCAL CORDS. THIS IS A JUMP STRAIGHT TO THE TOP OF THE LIST PERFORMANCE THAT IS LIFE CHANGING GOOD. EXCELLENT TONES FROM THE MUSICIANS. HER GENRE = ??? ANIME/PUNK/ROCK/METALISH/JAZZY-JAPANESE SOCIOL PROTEST. HER 1RST BIG HIT WAS "USSEEWA" WHICH MEANS STFU IN JAPANESE. (VERY FUNNY SOCIOL PROTEST LYRICS) SHE WAS CASTIGATED BY THE OLDER GENERATION IN JAPAN FOR PROTESTING BRUTAL WORK CONDITIONS?

So… the rabbit hole should begin with Red Rocks. Then hit up Candlelight Sessions. In terms of their albums, I kind of recommend Starcatcher first. It’s really who they are now and who they have been aspiring to be sonically. I just discovered them this past spring and while I love their older stuff (they were literal children when they wrote some of it!) the new stuff hits different. Meeting the Master is phenomenal. They don’t really have B sides and very few skips. Thank you for painting them in such a lovely light. They are so talented and seem like lovely people, too. My past time is watching GVF reaction videos. So glad the algorithm brought me to you ❤

Yes, Josh is barefoot, he always sings that way, and his brother Sam usually is too, because when he’s playing keyboard or organ, he’s playing the bass parts on pedals, and it’s easier for him to feel the pedal positions. Josh also can sound reminiscent of Steven Tyler. You might want to check out their Live at Red Rocks concert video.

The keyboard is a Hammond B-3 and its a church model , they also later on made a "Porta-B" model that was smaller and lighter cause those things were HEAVY it needed a special speaker system called a "Leslie" had a spinning drum above woofer and a spinning horn above a high frequency driver which could be turned on and off and speed changed to give that unique swirling sound !!!
