I live in Florida and we just exited gator mating season about a month ago. I can honestly say that Tim singing those low notes would cause all the female gators to come running. No male alligator can hold a candle to his bellow! Haha

Normally, they EQ the air out of those growl notes, too, but for some reason chose not to this time. I believe it was a good decision to leave it like that... it fit the song so well, as-is.

If memory serves the low note was a G#/Ab 1 for Tim and the high note for Peter was a G#/Ab 5 I believe. These are two amazing vocalist with extreme ranges. They both boggle my mind with their abilities and the technical side of these recording by Peter especially with as many as 100 or more layered vocals by him is just unbelievable. Real talent all the way around here. Loved Henri's look all the way through and then the pop eyes at the end was classic for a reaction to Tim's lower notes. You ladies are doing a great job. Keep doing what you're doing.

Another reactor said Tim’s low note was a G#1, and he held it for such a long time, too. This was filmed with Peter in Oregon and Tim in the Cayman Islands. Spectacular video!

The last note really reminded me of the low sound elephants use to call each other of long distances. The infra sound is so low that you more feel it then hear it.

That's Tim Foust with his incredibly deep baritone voice it sends chills 2 me and at the same time it makes me cry I'm so enthralled with his voice Peter you're so incredible thank you for introducing these incredible independent singers that I've never heard before and yes Peter has introduced other wonderful artist that are so damn incredible beyond words

Baritone is the average man's voice. Tim gets down to the extremely low bass range. He's a basso profundo…but, if you want to see his REAL range, check out all the songs from his new album, Pieces of Me. Oh, I should let you know, he has a 5+ octave range.

Home Free is the best vocal group ever. I emailed them personally hoping to book them for my wedding only to find out they were WAY out of our budget. Still used 3 of their songs at my wedding though, had an amazing dj. Personally, some of their songs give me goose bumps, they're so good.

I'm a huge fan of Peter an Tim's work and Home Free also. I listed some of there sites to help them out also. Some reactors list them to help the artist out and some dont. This is so beautiful. Peter has an amazing voice. He’s a master of layering. Tim has an amazing voice as well and has a 5 octave range. If you stare at him at that last note you’ll notice the camera shaking. I think he hits a G#1. Great reaction! By the way, Peter and Tim are so good together, they have other collaborations singing Sound of Silence, Greensleeves, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Fire and Rain. Peter also collaborates with Tim’s “a cappella” group called Home Free. He sings Amazing Grace and I Still Don’t Haven’t Found What I’m looking for with them.

I just watched your solo reaction, Sabina, after watching this one with Henri. If you like this one, Peter does mostly folk/movie track music. He does a great job telling a story with the music. I got to listen to Peter on Fridays in college, he is really that good. I haven’t got to hear Tim in person, but I know him, and two other bassists did a note test to see who had the lowest. Tim won.

I can hit that last low note, but to be able to hold it more than about 3 seconds drys my throat no matter what I do. It makes it unbearably itchy and I cough involuntarily. His ability to hold it so long with full projection must take a lot of practice!

In the Hobbit, Tolkien describes the almost religious experience that Bilbo had listening to the elves sing their songs. Even if this song is meant to be a Dwarven one, Henri's response to it is a window in to that world.
