Elishia, Love your reactions. Regarding the shoutout you gave to Ferlyn. She wrote "...ate Mori, ..." In the Philippines, we have a huge tradition of respect. In this case, she is calling Mori with the title of "Ate" (pronounced AH-teh), which is what you call a female who is older than you, but not too old like an aunt or grand parent, like an older female sister or female cousin.

Elishia, the “ate Morissette” is basically addressing respect to a person, usually used for an older woman or girl. In the Philippines you address older men and women as “kuya” or “ate” (ah-teh) respectively. So if I was younger and addressed you talking to you, I would say “ate Elishia” like an older sister. It’s used before a name to show respect. Hope that explains that... peace
