Yes, they openly admit to using WAY more studio audio effects on this one than they have in the past. This was an intentional homage to the electronic effects that were so much a part of 90s music. Their use of autotune (the first time they've ever used it) on Believe was a direct tribute to Cher, who was the first artist to use autotune (on that very song) as an artistic effect rather than a corrective measure. At the time, it was referred to as "The Cher Effect".

Excellent reaction. My sons were born in ‘92 &’93, so this is hardly music of my generation, but I’m amazed at how much I enjoyed this. The only song I recognized was”Believe” with the auto tune homage to Cher. I’d listened to this many times before your reaction, but I enjoyed how much obvious pleasure it was bringing you.

What a soundscape and impeccable timing! Glad I got the best headphones I've ever owned right now for videos like this. And such bass! wow. very likey, much love it. The soundscape they manage to create was unbelievable for a moment to me. I grew up listening to those songs on the radio, great memories :) The one I like the most since being a kid is Blue (Da Ba Dee) - man I still love it, dip me in some blue paint and crank up that volume. Imagine having a favourite colour and finding out there's a song all about it lol. Believe also really stuck itself into my brain then. What is Love now always makes me think of that car scene with the three guys headbobbin' :D I didn't remember It Feels So Good that well, but it made me check out the original now, and jesus. I love it. Sonique's voice is great, sonically so unique (she chose a great name for herself :D). The guy dressed in all black with that leather jacket has quite a look - looking at him really makes me believe for a sec that I'm suddenly in a whole different decade :D Those 90s synths and beats are forever. Me a 90s BB as well, so 90s are also mah thang and have a special place in my heart. Oh that Sony Music Entertainment hammer - you know it just never fails to try to bonk you on the head :D

Just so you know, their _"90s Dance Medley"_ is never blocked, 'cause it's 17 different songs, with 17 different owners, combined with the fact that they're only playing 5 to 10 seconds of each song! Medleys (with different groups' songs) are almost always safe to use.

Hi Sabina, I heard this about a week ago and I thought, if Sabina listens to this she is going to fall over in her chair. lol I am teasing you but I did have a strong gut feeling you would like this one. This one is just so much fun. I kept getting flashbacks. lol Everything you said was exactly what I thought also. They seem to be very detailed I think and they must spend a lot of time on these. I think one of the reactors looked up auto tune and the Cher song was the first song to use auto tune. so that is why they used it I will guess. The 90's was laced with a lot of the new generation keyboards and drum machines and effects like auto tune. etc. It is kind of mind blowing on how they are able to create those keyboard backgrounds with singing vowels like Aow . It is pretty insane . I think it is safe to say they have very high level of artistry. I know you have problems with Sony blocking their videos, but they do a version of Amazing Grace, perhaps the most over done and most boring song ever written .A song I do not like in any way and I haver listened to their version 15 times ? It is just a piece of ear candy art. Thanks for doing this one .We love you Sabina With love from Florida

Great reaction, with Pentatonix you have to stop three or four times, during the song, and just talk about them the song or anything, and you get it done. Great job 👍😊

At the interruption; REALLY loving the joy you were showing listening to them pump out one great song after another. (Copyright strike coming for me) - Most groups have 1 or 2 great singers, Pentatonix has 5 outstanding singers. Recommendations; Pentatonix covers of "Imagine" and "Can you feel the Love Tonight?"
@johngordon75103 жыл бұрын
I think you would enjoy Pentatonix "Imagine" the best part is the "Wall of Sound" you will know it when you get to it. They also have "Evergreen" which is not a cover.

Regarding the blocking of their videos, we are here to watch you watch them. Putting text or blurring the content may get it through more than others. You can also distort the videosl As long as we can hear the music, it's just fine with us!

Try adding a disclaimer in your video description box for example: "All the videos, songs, images, and graphics used in the video belong to their respective owners and I or this channel does not claim any right over them." < I copied that 1 from Google you can copy it if you like or a Google search might have others you could use that are more specific but generally as long as it doesn't look like someone is trying to credit the video as their own they should fine.
@pirateervagabond3663 жыл бұрын
You are mostly likely getting songs blocked because you don't pause. Reaction videos are fine as long as you are reacting as the song plays along pausing and giving your reactions every so often. If you play the whole thing without stopping it is just replaying the song and doesn't fall under fair use. I watch many channels that react to Pentatonix with no problems because the react as they go and pause it 5 to 10 times. Maybe if you add pauses it will help. Love your opinions and facial reactions to the songs keep up the good work.
@thehoogard3 жыл бұрын
It could still be fair use, KZbin just doesn't want to take chances.
@craigblocher7143 жыл бұрын
I have read comments by other reactors stating that some of their reactions to pentatonix gets blocked at first but then sometimes in minutes or hours the block is taken down. Sometimes a couple of days. I also notice that you don't stop the video to comment on it while you're watching. This, even though annoying, seems to keep from getting them blocked. I'd really like to see you try and react to those songs again or rerelease your old reactions to their songs.

Not true. Different tempos. PTX is known for amazing transitions, and this is no exception. It was intended to have upbeat, nostalgic effect. They succeeded. Accomplished based on bopping heads and bodies from reactors!
