My 7624 bobbin winder doesn’t work it locks up immediately. Any advise will be greatly appreciated

There are so many can cause that, you might need to take it apart and check inside to find the problem.

Thank you for your suggestion. I wish I could do that, unfortunately I am not a fluent speaker, with my terrible accent, no body wants to hear it. My intention is to show it to the buyer and proof of the condition of the working machine.(I sell my machines on Claigslits NY)

I purchased a side winder to fill my bobbins. I had spent most of September disassembling, cleaning. Oiling and lubricating my trusty old Singer 404. Polished its exteriors and retouched the solid sewing table and seat it came with. It was in very good shape before but, now you barely hear it running. Smooth a silk but that being said I will eventually address that bobbin winder issue. I had taken it in to various shops for repair and it always ended up giving me trouble in a relatively short time.

Do you mean the spool holder? Here in the US, you can find it on eBay, Amazon, and other online stores. Just Google it.
