Tom is a genius. I think 'Maverick' is going to catapult him to the Olympus of the producer's cinematography. Tom Cruise is becoming one of the greatest Hollywood producers in history. Just by recognizing what Gaga and this song will do to the movie speaks volumes of his gigant filming industry stature.

Great song for a great movie. Plane that flies over her is a WW2 P-51 Mustang not a jet. It's in the movie too Tom Cruise owns and flies one. She's not wearing a gown that's a parachute. Watch the end you can see the ropes that hold the chute to you are anchored to the base the piano is sitting on so the prop wash doesn't blow her off the piano. Been waiting for this movie for 36 years.

I was just saying that on the comments on the MV. This was giving me that Aerosmith's I don't wanna miss a thing on armageddon vibe. so 90s. There are movies like armageddon where I think if I were to watch it more thana decade later when Im an adult, I wouldn't have felt the same way, but I'm glad I watched it as a kid, I didn't care about whether which part was realistic or not, whether it was cheesy etc. I just knew it was such a heart warming movie, and even now more than 2 decades later, every time I watch that MV or even any fan video made with clips from the movie and I don't wanna miss a thing, it still reminds me of that feeling, and I never thought I'd feel that again with a new movie and a new song. I've mentioned this in another comment, but if they do a remake of Armageddon, this could've been the soundtrack.

Yo todavía no, desde su estreno no puedo dejar de escuchar esta rola versión de los 80s ahora entiendo porque fue aprobada inmediatamente por el mismo Tom Cruise ni bien la escucho esta canción no podría ser diferente, es verdad la película tiene muchas capas , no solo vuelos acrobáticos en el aire, la película tiene otros momentos y situaciones que se explican también en la letra de la canción, es ideal para la película.
