The song is about her struggles and accomplishments as she looks back in 2020 but more so its a parallel song of hope and perseverance for all of us to find our own Phoenix in ourselves and rise above our individual trials in life. Definitely Moritssette's Phoenix will be a legacy for future generations to experience in music how we lived during these times.
