Ooh I see you discovered Forestella! I always loved how detailed and insightful your reactions are, and I couldn't be happier now that you've reacted to my favorite group😍 Oh, come to think of it I remember you doing a reaction of Lara Fabian's version of Je Suis Malade, and Forestella did a cover of that song also, so it could be interesting to take a look at that. (Although I'm not sure whether or not the video is available to watch outside Korea) The third one from the left is the leader of the group, and he does tend to give signs when they are needed. But like you said, the level of control/synchronization they show still requires a great deal of practice. I remember them mentioning, while commenting on how they practice singing Nella Fantasia and Angel, that they are in constant struggle with themselves trying to control the volumes of their voices so that they each occupy no more than a quarter and none of their voices can be detected when they are blended(they called it 'playing the Whac-a-mole with voices'); And also that it's very difficult for them to feel and deliver the essence of the songs with their heart and at the same time still keeping a part of the brain focused on controlling the voices. I would love to see more reactions from you, but I also hope that you don't feel like you have to rush to post a new video😉

Josh - SO glad you've discovered Forestella! I only listen the them and Dimash; can't get enough of either. Here is a little about them. They just celebrated their 4th year together. Forestella are major stars in S. Korea. Their talent (together and individually) knows no bounds as you will soon see. The members are (L to R): Woo-rim - bass (basso profondo), age 27, university trained in classical and crossover. He originally wanted to be an opera singer Hyung-ho - tenor, countertenor, soprano, age 34. He is a research chemist and had a rock band named Pitta all through college. He always wanted to be a rock singer. He has an individual channel (Pitta) that shows off his rock talent! Min-kyu - tenor and founder of the group, age 32. He is university trained and is a leggiero tenor. Doo-hoon - tenor, age 36. He is a professional actor with a voice trained in the theater. They perform in many genres and arrange all of their songs themselves. They also sing in many different languages and study each to insure that the pronunciations are perfect. Thanks for your support for Forestella so much! I think you have some wrong information about the song arrangement. They don't arrange the songs themselves like you said.. They've been working with great music directors. They exchange their opinions and share idea with them a lot but never had their names as arranger of any song.

I laughed when you said the tenor and the base are classically trained cause they are! The one with the "cry" in his voice is actually a musical singer and the one with very high note was a chemical engineer and used to sing as a teenager only as a hobby with his friends.. I really loved your detailed reaction and analysis... since you like the Italian music can you please react to their nella fantasia .. they will blow your mind away.. they sang 3 Italian songs if I am not mistaken (one of them is parla piu piano), je suis malade is one of my ever fav as well.

Just in the interest of any new fans reading this.. HyungHo / PITTA actually was frontman and guitarist for a rock band he was part of from University days called PITTA . It disbanded after a while and then he joined a work band which then won an amateur band contest in Busan . He resurrected the name PITTA as a homage to his old band mates from who he received their blessing to use it.

You saw it right, the Phantom Singer audition was designed to make a quartet like il Divo. Actually Phantom Singer 1st season's promotion phrase was il Divo project for real. Forestella is the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2nd season. However as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! And they broke the record of their own with Lazenca Save Us winning 4 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs 2! Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist & rock vocalist with soprano falsetto voice), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, one of the semi-finalists from Voice Korea 2, rough-textured husky tone with R&B, Pop groove). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. Ko WooRim said they met more than 300 days together in Phantom Singer All Stars behind interview but in a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in 2020. I do love their version of Scarborough Fair. But if you like different versions of the Bohemian Rhapsody you should also react to the Og3ne (-O-gene) lockdown version. 3 sisters with good harmonies, a piano and a guitar, all separate recorded at their own homes and added together to 1 video. If think you as a choir singer would love to take a dive into Gregorian. Gregorian is a German band with several church monks singing pop musing in a church style. And the man with a clear head voice was an ordinary person who played a band with his friends. And the pop vocalist is a musical actor who plays an important role in conveying the emotions you say. Hi SingerDad, I have a quick question for you. I am a reactor too and I uploaded my reaction to this about a week ago and it was blocked. I disputed it as I normally do. (almost always successfully) As you have probably experienced this too, after a video thats been uploaded is blocked, after 48 hours it's usually released and viewable until the dispute has been resolved. This one has not been unblocked yet and even though there's 20 days left in the dispute, the Monetization shows as ON, in the YT studio content section, but blocked in the copyright summary. Sorry for going on- my question is, was this blocked for you when you first uploaded it? UMG is the claim holder. I am trying to decide if I should reupload it and see if it is allowed, or even give it another 48 hours if blocked again to see if works, then delete the first one. There are quite a few other reactions to this, and in my experience with the exception of less than 3-4 out of over 200 have stayed blocked. I would appreciate any input you could give on your exp. with this video. Yes, my first upload was blocked, I disputed it per my normal routine and it stayed blocked beyond the 48 hour customary period. So, I deleted it and added my filter and tried again and that's what you see. Not sure what happened with the 48 hour thing. My research didn't really provide an answer.
