And wait till you listen to how high she can also go, she can not be confined by voice standards, she is Diana Ankudinova. She is 20 years old now. You should watch one of her most recent videos singing her one song in a duet with Brandon Stone which is called "The day you..." her highs there would put any singer with high voice to shame. If of course you want to listen to more of her warm lows then you should go for her original OST called "Baikal" from the movie "Spirit of Baikal" where she play's the role of the spirit of the lake Baikal her self, her voice and the video clip are out of this world. Finally if you want to see her belting her heart out in full power you should watch her sing the soundtrack from the movie Dune, her voice fills the whole space, it is POWERFUL and commanding.

Diana is the most extraordinary singer in the world. You need to listen to a lot of her stuff - as she has been singing on stage since she was 8 years old and she is now 20. Listen to everything and you will be shocked and fascinated. She's not exactly a singer - she's a mythical Siren and you can hear it. Diana Ankudinova's ability to interpret lyrics through music is unmatched. There are those who can do it, but not with her imagination, and certainly not with her grasp of emotions. And to sing in a four octave range as a dramatic contralto is unheard of. It is no wonder the world of opera has treasured her for years. Yet her preference, as she recently said, is folk music. This cover is a perfect example of how she understands the poet's words as well as the composer's theme, even in a language which she does not speak. It is no wonder that Brandon Stone writes so much music for her. I have wondered this past year whether the Russia-Ukraine war has kept her from being able to collaborate with Igor Krutoy. Anyway, thanks for your reaction. Allow me to suggest you step even another year back to look at her performances in the first year she participated in the "You Are Super" national competition for teenagers who had been without parental care (a.k.a. orphans) for a significant time in their lives. Her renditions of songs in three different languages are all of world class for any teenager. You can get a sense of her continued growth and commitment to her art. Thanks again. 👍

И это тоже один из её парадоксов, которых очень много. Третье любопытное, что они сказали: в этой песне звучит как будто не одна Диана Анкудинова, а две или три. Greetings from Scotland! This is Diana! SO different but SO good! Difficult to quantify what you hear and see because she is such a unique artist! As you hear more of her performances you will slowly realise that this is still the tip of the iceberg of her vocal talents! After 8 years of following this vocal phenomenon, she still surprises and confounds me, regularly! Interesting fact - When this song was allocated to Diana to perform, she really didn't understand the song at all! However, as you hear, she created a superb rendition of it with all the emotion of the original, and more! Such an intuitive singer! ----- Привет из Шотландии! Это Диана!
