Dimash did not win the contest!!!! He came in 2nd place!!! However he won so much more with the career that came from his appearance in The Singer. Your reactions to Dimash are my favorite and I have watched them over and over ...I never tire of these reactions on this incredible journey with you!!! When Dimash performed "Give Me Love", at the Gala, it had not yet been released and he sung it in his native language. The contest was over so he did not have to put on a show here. All he had to sing was sing, and sing he did!!!! Thank you guys for all the wonderful memories from your reactions to Dimash on The Singer. I personally am not disappointed that Dimash did not win. Maybe at first I was but if he had won his contract may have tied him to The Singer for whatever period of time. As it turned out he was free to pursue his dream without any restrictions from the show. It all worked like it should have.

Diane, your very first comment, telling MAP that Di did not win "the contest" (which I thought they already knew) referred to the Singer, but I thought the contest they referred to as Dimash winning was the Twitter poll. This was his last performance at the SINGER. He has already proven his singing ability's by now and presented them with a very slow romantic song to bring out another side of his singing. Dimash allowed his manager and the show to choose the wrong songs for him in the semi-final and final of The Singer. He is undoubtedly the best singer around, but you don't win shows by popular vote with those song-choices. He has so many other great songs that showcase his unparalleled vocal abilities. He could have put this out of reach of the composition with many better options than these.
