YESSS ! For the estranged, Split-In-Two Punjabi hearts, Singh shall always be King, no question. He is the leader, champion and cheerleader of our culture the world over. Our King here, Mika Singh, though, is strangely off-color. My ears still long for the reverberating 'Original' (with Snoop Dogg rapping along) that I heard the first time and having stupidly got (so) excited that tactlessly praised it rather fulsomely. The result was that 'Grey Jealousy' immediately took over to make amends. When the movie 'Singh Is King' got released, I was shocked to see a very tame version of the song relegated to closing titles of the movie with the Dogg mildly rapping while beating his chest. The 'Original' that I had heard first was so good that if Mika The King was to perform it here, he would have every one of this audience dancing in the aisles. I can't even demand from him or Dogg to redo this as per the 'Original' because I would like to hear (a lot) more songs from them in the future. ♠♥♦♣
