I've been looking for the name of this song for almost 20 years. I finally found it!
@andthetruthis32243 жыл бұрын
@ Will Melo: I did the same, someone gave it to me on a tape with no name on it, I couldn't remember who since I was affiliated with a lot of spiritual groups and then by divine direction I was able to be put in touch with who it was and the Sikh community. I took the kundalini yoga teachers training and started going to Sadhana( morning yoga and chanting prayer) at 4am it was/ is very close to my home.. It changed my life and I can't wait to go back to Sadhana soon. I would go on Sundays and Mondays since those are my days off and had developed doing the practice at home. This time away from people has given me the time to get back to the practices that supported the spiritual life I had. and that I am reclaiming. This was one of them.
@willmelo81703 жыл бұрын
@@andthetruthis3224 It happened to me almost the same way. I was learning about the spiritual path, in an attempt to find myself, when I met a person. He taught me many things and gave me tapes with songs without written names. This song I used to make astral projection. My master died a few years ago and I had forgotten them until recently, when I decided to mess with them. I put it to play together with a music recognizer to try to find the name of the song or the composer. I was happy to have finally found out!

I have loved Singh Kaur's voice ever since I first heard her sing, the really sad thing for us is that she is no longer incarnate but our world is vastly richer for this for her legacy - thank you Singh Kaur and thank you Invincible Music for showing us this video.

What makes Singh Kaur unique is the "God Note" in her voice. The words are not all that important, but it is the unique divinity in her voice that transcends everything else.

I have loved this piece of music since it was first introduced to me by a friend (thank you AA). I regard it as one of a handful of the most beautiful pieces of music I have heard in my life. Singh Kaur's voice is heavenly. There is transcendental beauty and peace in this universe alongside all the pain and suffering. Our species is very alone on a fragile planet. Let's try and make it a better world for all.

I know very little about yoga music or it's origins but I do know this. I first heard the sweet voice of Singh Kaur some time ago on a Gary Stadler recording. Since then, my life was changed........and it becomes more changed every time I listen to her *which is often!* Rest in peace, Singh Kaur. We will meet some far-off day, I am sure of it! peace

I love Singh Kaur's music, her voice is amazing. The song 'crimson' itself brings tears to my eyes thinking of Guru Nanak and how wonderful it must have been to achieve enlightenment and to catch a glimpse of the eternal cosmic Waheguru Ji.

@gungnir2357 Hi, Guru Ram Das is the 4th Guru of the Sikhs, he founded the city of Amritsar in Punjab, India. The holiest Sikh shrine is located in that city and it is the holiest city of Sikhism. The Guru Granth Sahib (Sikhs present eternal Guru) contains a lot of Guru Ram Das Ji's hymns. The Sikh Gurus were beyond human, they were one with god. Thanks!

@steadyhandsunny - Good question, steadyhandsunny. I will offer that it is because much of the beautiful Kundalini mantra music made outside of India, was inspired and composed by students of Yogi Bhajan, who brought the tradition here from India in 1969. Yogi Bhajan considered Guru Ram Das his personal, out of body Guru, and so, out of respect for the tradition and line of teachers, much mantra music is devoted to him. However, it is also because Guru Ram Das is known as the protector.
