Was a great fan in the days of four track recorders .Enjoyed every bit with out alcohol, There were two major groups viz The Riverside Dancing Club and the Royal Star dancing club , They played and performed at weddings on Saturday nights. There were religous stories supported with excellent stories . The tunes of the music was mind blowing. (Just in case you think this was for the less educated you are wrong ,I am a Graduatee with a National Diploma and a BACCALAUREUS DEGREE IN POST SCHOOL EDUCATION and othe qualification.I can share some info use the following tel [phone])

Grew up in the 70s being taken to all these live performances . They were loved by All and hundreds Attended these plays . It would we interesting to note that were not alcohol induced performances but serious plays but went on for hours interspersed with meaniful music , it was always based on the Ramayan . At that time the ramayan was discussed in all homes as part of our education . I grew up in sea cow lake and sea cow lake was known for its music and musicians. Peter is still around and can take you down memory lane any day

I was 3 years old...but still remember this. WOW...amazing. My dad and mum used to go for every show and it was our family outing. Thank you Harry Bhaiji for uploading these videos. My dad used to also play music in the 70's and 80's for the Young Revolvers. I only have a few cassette recordings unfortunately. Flash Entertainers...your'll are the best!

This is unbelievable.My mother used to dance for this group some time in the 50s and 60s.I vaguely remember us watching my mother dancing on stage at wedding celebrations.It would be magical if you have some photos or videos during this period to upload.Yes we lived in Brooks road..Riverside.
