Holy Hell youve never checked out Jessi yet 😳!!! Jessi is one of my favs she's just so good! This beat is sick it reminds me of Dawndididawn another song she features on with Dawn. She's talking her shit!!! The stylist needs a raise these fits are so good I want to wear the orange jacket one! The picture with Psy head on her body is so hilarious! She is originally a vocalist even though she's know for her sick flow. Love this choreo! Nunu Nana is iconic!!!! She got Lee Hyori in the end of the mv! Iconic choreo too!Jessi is from New Jersey and lived there til 15 and was born in NY I believe that's why she is so unique to kpop. Her show Showterview is my favorite it's so unique and funny! Definitely check out more music. Numb is a good one to hear more vocals! Down is great too. Good rap ones would be Who that B, Wet, Gucci and Drip. Those are most popular. For something different check out What Type of X. More of a rock vibe! And of course Cold Blooded which she did for street woman fighter. Also she did a group project with Hwasa, Lee Hyori, and Uhm Jung-hwa called Refund Sisters. Their song is called Don't touch me. It's great!

The woman with Jessie at the end of Nunu Nana is Lee Hyori who put together the Refund Sisters and is a legend. Since you've been watching Street Woman Fighter you'll want to check Cold Blooded where a whole batch of the dance crews appear with Jessie. The 2019 Mamas also included a stage with her and Hwasa.

I'll add that Lee Hyori is a legend you should check out, especially "Black", "Seoul", and "MIss Korea" (her solo Perfect All-Kill) -- and if you're serious about checking out Refund Sisters, you need to see Uhm Jung Hwa "Ending Credit" and "Pupil" (performance from 1993). Can't recommend these highly enough.

What's crazy is that she ALWAYS says she's a singer who raps a bit, not the other way around...She actually debuted as a singer in the early 2000s. New fans are always shocked by this especially since she's known by her rapping. She was actually in choir a lot when she was still back in New Jersey growing up.

“Down” is such an underrated song by Jessi and also “No Love” and “Can You Hear Me” by Lucky J (the group Jessi used to be in) really showcases her singing. This stuff is a bit older than the stuff people find of her now, but I promise it is worth it. Please don’t sleep on these tracks

Jessi is a whole vibe!!! "Drip", "What type of X", "Cold Blooded"(From Street Woman Fighter, coincidently), are just a few MV's, well worth the watch. She's also done some awesome collabs as well. I am not a fan of Jessi's 'Zoom' (and I doubt it will grow on me...this type of thing is...well, not my style I guess, I think its pretty awful actually, BUT...! Jessi does what she wants, and she IS a great talent, a great singer, great rapper, absolutely hilarious, and actually a real sweetheart!!!. She's worked INCREDIBLY HARD for 15 YEARS (!) to make-it in Korea and her efforts and energy are finally paying off...and she deserves to be seen and heard in other major music markets as well. She grew up in New York and New Jersey, which I guess partially explains her public DGAF attitude, but she's not a sterotype...she's unique. AND....she's great friends with Tiffany of SNSD,
