Absolutely entertaining! It warmed my heart to watch this exellent...and yet humble rendition of Singing in the rain, starring Gene ,Debbie,Donald and beautiful Cyd.I was a just a little kid, growing up in France when I first saw this Classic...I think Moliere would have been jealous.

Great rendition of one of my favourite musicals of all time. The guy who played Cosmo was great, could not take my eyes off him every time he was on stage. I don't know much about tap dance but they did a very good job n my opinion. The only thing being is that Cathy was out of breath a lot during 'All I do is Dream of You', the microphone picked that up defiantly. Another thing you probably couldn't help was the hight difference between Cathy and Don. I just felt awkward watching them. Other than that though, I was really impressed with this and I loved watching it. :)

Ciaran Cross Cosmo is a fast character, quick witted, he says his lines very quickly. something I've noticed with all my theatre buddies, as well as myself is that we say our lines TOO quickly because of nerves. Just remember that YOU know the script backwards and forwards, the audience may be seeing it for the first time and may not understand if you say it so fast that all the syllables run together. make your lines very easy to hear. Pronunciation is key.

My god...teach them how to breathe properly while singing and dancing so they actually sustain a note and get in all the words. *facepalm*. Literally heard every other word and all out of breath for Kathy during "All I Do Is Dream of You". They should have turned off her mic. Her gasping distracts from the whole number. The dancing, however, is good and the lighting and set designs are gorgeous. :)

This past year my senior musical was also Singin in the rain, and I can tell you most definitely, theirs was Nothing compared to ours. Our cast had better talent and so far their biggest slip was during All I Dream of you, Kathy should Not be singing, as she is here she is out of breath and does not sound good. The choir should be singing instead.

Please teach your cast when to breath. During All I Do Is Dream Of You there were bursts of her singing and then you could just hear her gasping. It was very bad sounding. Im sorry, everything was great and you are all amazing actors but it made her sound like a poor singer.

I made it for the first hour and I just can't any more. Maybe it's because I'm watching it on KZbin instead of live. The costumes are nice but the singing and acting is kind of meh. I realize we can't all be Tony winners, but this lacks a spark that makes it magical.

Just goes to show that you can have a ton of money and a big stage and still be terrible. My theater group performed this show with a comparatively low budget and it was much better than this.

Yep, the acting and singing is what brings together a show and makes all the costume and set and everything worth it, and this cast certainly didn't make it worth it. It looks like a bunch of highschoolers pretending to be actors.

I think this version is great overall, but I don't think this studio was fit for singing in the rain yet. If one word comes in my mind when i hear singing the rain, I think TAP. and the tap was just not up to scale. it just seemed little. Please if you do it again, get some better tap in there. I mean like cramp roll and stomp time steps, 4 beat pullbacks, wings, over the tops, and inprovisational tap. and also, a faster pace in the tap. Not only was some of the instrument acting horrible, dream of you was so out of breath. This studio was not ready for this show, and everything about it proves my statement.

+Owen Whetstone I agree. Original Choreography is usually expected when doing this show! A lot of what I saw in this was heel toe walks, scuffs, shuffles, flaps and nerve taps. There was some original spice in FIDDLE! But not all was in the final product. More, fancy stuff like there are a lot of maxis fords, double maxis fords, pick ups, pull backs, buffalo's, over the tops. Breathing after numbers like DREAM OF YOU was audible. You should breath when you dance. Also, the title number killed me he is singin' because everything is working out and he is having the best time of his life! He dosn't care in that scene he is just happy! Lina was pretty good! Everyone was pretty good but I agree that they just were not ready plus some of the acting felt a little forced and unnatural.
