I've got a question, Julia. How can ya tell if a singing-voice is just temporarily out of whack, or if it's just quite simply had it, please? Like, what are the tell-tale signs that it's just temporarily sick or damaged, and what are the sure-signs that it's completely shot and not coming back?

So helpful. Yeah, excited to get my voice back but definitely cracking if I try to sing (and I'm not a pro by any means) so this was so helpful! What do professionals do to not damage their vocal chords when they are pushing their voice?
