1940′s Jazz and Traditional Japanese music combined? That’s so dope, I’ve never seen anything like it!

this is the type of thing I would love to be there for, none of these million dollar production movie industries that corporations use to funnel money with bad writing, none of these delving into AI created media to be sold as products to the public completely replacing already struggling musicians, actors, artists, etc. I want to be in this room full of people living their best lives and just vibing with this masterpiece, thank you so very much for recording this and posting it for many more to view

You are absolutely right. I know this band (the video was recorded at my church), and the energy at their performances-especially the Swingposium shows in 2018-were a high point. Such exuberance!

I have watched this so many times, and never commented until now. It is one of my favorite performances which I return to time and again because it's such a creative fun and skillful fusion of two cultures and musical types. Thank you!

I saw you in Reading, PA a few weeks ago. One of the best concerts I can remember. You all seemed to be totally enjoying what you were doing that we could feel that positive energy. I look forward to seeing you again.

Is korean church socks only?
@kailashaw55706 жыл бұрын
They’re called tabi, they’re not really socks. They’re a traditional Japanese shoe and you can see a rubber sole on them. When you play taiko for an audience, you wear tabi!
