I disagree. There is at least one good/correct/better way to do everything, Based on experience and testing. "Respect" has nothing to do with it. If you want to deviate from that, logically, you should have a reason. Like if the different process improves something or the materials you are using are different than usual. Saying people should do thingS "the way THEY want to" is bad thinking. This applies to art, but not to real world things. Should I fly an airplane the way I FLY A AIRPLANE? Or the way the laws, rules and 100 years of experience tells me? Can people do whatever they want? As long as it's legal. Are they inefficient and wasteful with time and resources if they don't do it the accepted or correct way? Most likely. It is widely accepted that the LESS someone knows about a subject, the MORE they usually think they know. They are just ignorant. And don't know what they don't know. This seems to be the theme in the 2000s. To quote Cartman: "I'll do what I want!"
