Fantastic. Thank you! Her son, Adam said she liked to laugh and one sees that in the comic roles. We also catch a glimpse of the goings on around Noel Coward 's piano of an evening. What fun!

I’ve heard her say that she wished she’d had the opportunity to do more comedy. She’s fabulous here, and everywhere else I’ve seen her in a comedic role. La Stupenda!

She sounds incredible for 1983. Wow. I heard her many times around this time and she had great days and not so great days but she was closing in on 60. It was to be expected. Considering others lost their voices at the age of Sutherland's Met debut, she was a miracle.
