2) My natural voice is baritone, but when i record my voice, it sounds better when i sing higher in the upper range, but at the same time the voice comes out not so easy. I think, maybe it is because of compression that i do in the upper range and what I dont do in my normal range. THANK YOU A LOT, SINGING SUCCESS!

this guy knows what he's talking about.. i don't get all the bad comments about him and his methods as a vocal coach. but about taking a phone call during a private lesson... well.. that's a different issue.

I use rice milk for breakfast and once in a while almond milk. What I also noticed in the past at Karaoke that people smoke and can sing good. I am sensitive to the smoke, had to leave and where I normally sing at Jam Sessions, the smokers go outside. I prefer singing with a band and creating live music and hardly sing Karaoke in public anymore.

Hello Brett and singing success teachers. I have two big questions that i really have problem with. By the way - I have both of your programs - Singing Success and Mastering Mix. So the first question - 1)How to develop a falsetto voice, i mean rnb falsetto, for example like Justin Timberlake is singing.

4 days, well maybe give it a bit longer, and the issue might iron out. I had a lot of issues with nay nay and the later n-oo-uh exercise. A lot was down to my speech technique, the pronunciation made it difficult for me to keep up. Either way, as your voice develops and strengthens, these will all become easier. I've been using this program for around 7 years and now all of that is a breeze, it all takes time (I promise that if you do it daily it won't take the full 7 years though!)

I know for me I've learned that when I know I'm about to sing the next day, I avoid any dairy product and anything that's white to pasta. Those affect my voice and it really does cause flem.

I have so much conflicting information about the tongue and its position that I am totally confused. Up and the back? Down and flat? Active tip and relaxed everything else? Concave in the middle? Different for different styles, tones or pitches? I would love some clarification. I would love to hear your take on it. Thanks. Rachel

I hate to ask this on here, but was Brett ever with Speech Level Singing? I bought his program and think it's a must have for any singer! But I was just curious if there was a reason he distanced himself from them? You can answer privately if it's easier

Hi Brett, I have a question. I can sing songs that have high notes in them when I don't have an audience.. but when it comes to performing with many people it becomes very hard to reach the high notes and I think me being conscious with the people watching makes me hold back. How can I relax myself so that I wouldn't have to hold back on hitting high notes? By the way Singing Success Program Rocks.

I'm not really a natural soprano, I have to put in a lot of practice for songs with higher notes. Eventually I can manage it, but it takes a lot of breath and volume. However, I'm mostly a choir singer, so how I can work on high notes without having to get loud and overpower the other members of my choir?

I have heard times with lip rolls and worse with tongue trill. It was embarrassing for me during highschool to not be able to do them warm ups for choir. Is there to much tension or just something something that I can't do?

What do you feel in your throat after doing lip rolls? I may be doing it wrong so i want to know :)
@singingsuccess
@singingsuccess 5 жыл бұрын
The vocal cords don't have nerve endings, so when you are training correctly it should feel like nothing. You may notice that as you go higher your larynx moves but you do want to control and stabilize that. Let us know if you have any more questions.

i get that you really shouldnt make your voice louder than it should because it might damage your voice, but as a rock/metal singer, being quiet really isnt an option sometimes. how can i boost the volume of my singing without straining and/or damaging my voice? also, are there ways to clear my throat (in the mornings or if i simply have phlegm in my throat) without damaging my voice? because i feel like im scratching my voice every time i do

Its probably better to do a more traditional vocal warm up. I drink enjoy a coffee sometimes but used to often it can dry out your vocal cords.
