I will never forget how they were targeted by relentless hate, treated worse than real criminals. For months, thousands of negative articles smeared their names. They were unfairly called a "national embarrassment" because of clips taken out of context by people online who weren't even at the concert venue, while those who saw them live had nothing but praise. They were wrongly accused of being "Japanese nationalist supporters" just because they posted a picture with Mount Fuji in the background. Koreans openly persecuted them, with the general public even openly cussing them and labeling them the "evil sister of NewJeans" after a diabolical woman name-dropped them during her outrageous coke rant. Korean TV shows mocked them, and Korean TikTokers did the same without shame. Their official accounts were flooded with threats and hateful comments, forcing them to shut down comments entirely. The hate was so bad, it's obviously not just to destroy their careers but to break them mentally. If people choose to see them as villains, then this may be the moment the "villain" rises above the hate and prevails. And if anyone wonders if I love K-pop simply because I support LE SSERAFIM, I would say wholeheartedly-FUCK K-pop.because I stan five fearless individuals who are being persecuted by an industry that doesn’t deserve them.

me encanta que a pesar de que le sserafim sea un grupo reciente, mayormente canten en vivo, al contrario de ciertos "world class SINGERS" que no lo hacen. me dolió mucho que por 1 mala presentación les haya caído tantísimo hate, ellas que son un grupo que no tiene ni 3 años que debutaron y a pesar del entrenamiento siguen aprendiendo, pero otros cantantes que aún con experiencia de 8+ años no puedan cantar en vivo en ninguna de sus presentaciones y se les justifique "que es por perfirmance" "por que la prioridad es el baile" (yendome por la lógica en los haters criticaron a le sserafim) aunque es entendible, y el playback no tiene nada de malo, se me hace tan ilógico que unas sean criticadas por arriesgarse a cantar y bailar en vivo en lugar de orientarlas y otros que jamás cantan en vivo y se hagan llamar cantantes sean justificados. pero bueno, con esta presentación le sserafim ha dejado claro el talento que tienen y lo mucho que han trabajado y se han esforzado❤️‍🩹 que a pesar de ser un grupo que no tiene mucho en la industria, ellas SÍ se atrevan a bailar y cantar al mismo tiempo EN VIVO, y más aún a pesar de toooodo el odio massivo que resivieron, dd todos los insúltos, los cuestionamientos sobre su talento, su esfuerzo, si merecían debutar o no, a pesar de todo ellas siguen adelante e intentando de nuevo. no soy parte de su fandom pero desde fuera se notaba que las agarraron de su costal de boxeo, y que aún sigan manteniéndose firmes, trabajando mucho para mejorar y sigan presentándose en vivo me hace sentirme muy orgullosa de ellas 💙

I might be wrong, but I think the MTV Push award is reserved for one of the 12 artists/groups that are showcased by MTV throughout the year. A new artist is highlighted each month with an interview and a performance shoot. I think the results are fan voted but the candidates are pulled from that list and its not related to any genre. So a popularity contest within "breakout" artists highlighted by MTV. I'm not sure MTVs criteria for choosing who to include in Push each year though.

Thanks for the reaction! I’m so happy they performed in the UK! I love their performances and glad more people are seeing them. Shame I couldn’t see it in person 🥹 Very proud of them though and I’m glad they’ve been singing live as often as they can. Feel like nowadays there’s a hunger for some people online to see any performer make a mistake so they can use it as ammo to define the trajectory of their career or to compare to someone else. In reality all of these performers, kpop or otherwise, are constantly improving/working on their performances and I think that is so much more cool to see and appreciate.
