isn't there a way to achieve this without getting sued by your neighbors?
@AndrewSouthworth5 жыл бұрын
Well, theirs a difference between getting sued and getting a noise complaint ;). Although in the 10 or so years i've been doing this i've never had an issue with neighbors, just don't do it late at night and if you live in an apartment and have thin walls maybe talk to them to see what hours would annoy them the least.
@albert13875 жыл бұрын
dude i found tge solution for this buy a noise canceling headphone (no music only noise canceling) buy one with detachable earparts, and put them to your mouth in a way thats comfirtable, you can sing very loud and still sound like a calm talking ape.

@@AndrewSouthworth what helped me to find rasp has been sing clean and than push my stomach in not like clench because that engage a more heavy distortion useful for hybrid and fry scream but more like in a gentle way like if there's a girl and you want to retire your belly inward. I think that what happens is that we drive our diaphragm that push a little bit of air and that stimulates gently the false fold and give that light vintage rock distortion

his is hard because it comes from the area where you would mimic snoring. That area is where you should feel it coming from, then send the words through your nose and you should have it. Volume increase so it doesn't sound muffled. If you feel a tickle or cough it is the wrong area and that is where you should never try to do it from, just ask Axl Rose. Had Axl done it the Cobain way he would not have had to have surgery. It's hard to get it to distort at first but once you feel it enter the snore area you'll get the idea. It's how I sing both Cobain and Rose without damaging my voice and it works. The idea is not the same as in this video. Hope that helps.

Ey andrew where should i feel the rasp? In my false cord or in my soft palate or hard palate and i relly want to shout like chester.
@AndrewSouthworth6 жыл бұрын
You should feel the rasp in your soft palette, almost like its resonating the soft palette area. However you are technically using your false cords and may feel your false cords vibrating as well. The sensation can take a while to get used to.

Why my head voice sounds like falsetto
@AndrewSouthworth5 жыл бұрын
It will always be lighter than chest voice, but you can thicken the sound. The difference between falsetto and full voice is really in the amount of breathe in the sound - or vocal cord closure.

Would you say you use vocal fry to add rasp or false chord?
@yuridanylko4 жыл бұрын
@Фанат Рудакова i was asking the maker of the video what he does personally. I'd also like to find the difference between them so I can choose which one I want to focus on.

Rasp feels similar to vocal fry, and I find it very easy to go between fry screams and vocal rasp. But the technique itself uses your false cords just like all rasp or scream techniques.
