I see that Heroin discography back there. I thought it was going to be like every other Southern Lord RSD release and they were going to be half off but it seems like somehow Heroin has become popular somehow? That's a cool stack of 7"s. It's like a 90's MRR come to life.

Yeah I love all that 90s stuff. It was a great era of indie punk records and it seemed like it was never ending. Always something cool to discover on every page of MRR. I did a huge video a while ago on 90s punk records and went through all those legendary labels. It was a chore to do but it brought back so many good memories for me.

Rocket from the Crypt - San Diego band, those guys rock! Going to stream some Wasp right now. Great guitar tone no doubt.

RFTC are just a solid band through and through. Such a great discography. Huge fan of their stuff and they don’t get talked about enough on my channel so I might have to do a RFTC vinyl collection video soon! Yep, WASP tone forever!!! I’d love to know exactly what equipment they used to get that tone. I assume BC RICH and Jackson guitars but what amps and pedals? It’s one of my favourite guitar tones in metal. Right up there with Randy Rhoads tone on the Tribute LP.

Hey,D...excellent vid again...that book is awesome! BTW,do you know anything about a band called Mean Vincent? I picked up what looks like a self-released promo cd called 'Horror Music' on Inhaler Records for 50p last weekend. It's one of these blue cds,not a silver one, and is Garagey/slightly Stonesy with some synthy keyboard here and there. They may be Aussie...I could only find one song on Discogs on an Australian comp,'Playing Favourites #1' on Illustrious Records from 2003. There's a few songs on KZbin but I can't find any info or pics anywhere. I was intrigued by the band name, album title and cover art and it turned out to be pretty cool sounding. Would have fitted in well with the Garage Rock Revival...Vines,Datsuns,Jet and all them. Cheers from Scotland!

If it’s the band I am thinking of Mean Vincent, I think, were from the UK? I could be wrong though but that’s what I am remembering. I could be wrong though. I think they got talked about many many years ago on the Wildhearts group? Either that or someone from that group told me about them. Sorry I can’t be of more help. I’ve heard a lot of music over the years so trying to remember every thing gets tough at times. Hahahaha I do try though. Thanks heaps for watching. I appreciate that. And your comment. Cheers buddy!
