Hats off for drawing lines and words neatly using a mouse. I could never do that

I found that this video helped my grasp on understanding what is going on when a processor is running. One of the things I noticed is that you never talked about the top part of the diagram and what happened up there. I know that it has to do with finding what instruction to use during the next clock cycle, but have you made another video going over that, or at the least, show what is happening when you run any of the jump or branch instructions through the processor? I just want to make sure that I understand how it works exactly.

I realize this is a late reply, but I plan on doing a very in-depth series on computer organization (and more specifically microprocessors), hopefully in the not too distant future...I am after all still a student myself. Thanks for watching!

zooce Hey Zooce, big fan. Still plan on doing these or are you finished with it?

The Simple Engineer, thanks for the complement! Glad you like the videos! I definitely plan on continuing my video series. It's a bit slow right now because I'm finishing up my last semester, in which I have 8 classes (literally), so I haven't had time to make more. Once I graduate, I'll be making a lot more videos. Thanks for watching! Also, I was checking out your page as well...really awesome videos! More people show do these kinds of videos. It helps a lot of people!
