I’m thinking a manager in IT. I work in IT and at my company we have a lot of flexibility to work remote. The managers also get a lot of vacation time so I’m thinking Sim dad can take off work for his kids’ events

Super cute build! Lol don’t be fooled by the older sister “letting” the younger one have the top bunk. I shared bunk beds with my older sister and she made me take the top bunk when she realized she could put curtains around the bottom one for privacy 😂

I’ve never been on a top bunk, when I was little I sleep walked and wasn’t allowed on the top bunk and now I have a phone and charger and prefer to have bedside table. Also, the curtains around my bottom bunk was always great.

As a family of five growing up in a small, three bedroom house - you really get used to only having one bathroom. Lol When I got married, had kids, and moved, having a master bathroom was LUXURY!! But I love this cozy apartment. I also imagine that maybe their mother passed away and dad is slightly overwhelmed. (The room clutter with the boxes that he has not gone through) maybe those are his wife’s things. But I think that he just keeps going for his girls and kinda ignores all his feelings which might explode. Idk. I love thinking of stories.

I absolutely loved this! I shared a room with my little sister for 16 years! I gave her the top bunk and let her pick out certain decorations until we got our own rooms. This also resonated with me bc when we were little, our father passed away and my mom raised a boy and two girls with the help of my grandparents. I’m also now a single mom who escaped and survived abuse.

Love how you do tall wall heights! They are the bane of my existence and I always feel like my apartment looks so empty. You do a fantastic job at making your builds feel more lived-in and cozy, which is hard when the walls are so tall and there are a lot of blank spaces

Love the amount of thought you put into the background of this family. I think they’d be a fun one to play with! Also, my mom was one of EIGHT kids growing up on a farm (seven girls and one boy!) and that house to this day STILL has no dishwasher. Needless to say, there are a lot of paper plates used whenever we have family reunions at the farm haha

As somebody who grew up in and still lives in a one bedroom apartment with my sister and both my parents, i think you did a fantastic job with how everybody overlaps each other. Everything is always just shoved in one area and nobody really has enough privacy. When i was younger everything was definitely a lot more chaotic, one because i was a super energetic kid that loved toys, and two because my apartment is super small. After my parents divorced and my dad moved out everything was slightly more organized since he’s an architect so he had a bunch of tiles and stuff. And now that my sister started collage and left, so its just me and my mom, everything is way more organized. But anyways i love how you can see the personality of each sim, and idea maybe you remake this house but as their older

My favorite storyline to play in Sims 4 is an occult Sim adopting an orphaned human child. So based on my playthroughs, especially my current one (involving a female werewold and her adopted human son), I like to imagine that this house belongs to a werewolf man and his four adopted human daughters. There's no mom in the picture because there wasn't one from the beginning, the dad was just a lone werewolf, trying to get by in the world. Until one day a homeless human girl sneaks into his home while he's out, not realizing it's a werewolf's home, looking for food. Of course, he comes home and catches her, and upon finding out she has no home or family, he lets her stay. Time passes, and one morning, the werewolf man goes outside and discovers another human girl huddling beind his house after seeking shelter from the rain. She's also an orphan with nowhere to go, so of course, he lets her stay. Time passes, and one day, while out hunting, the werewolf man discovers the twin toddlers abandoned in the wilderness, unable to leave them, he brings them home. The werewolf man, now a father of four, knows that he needs to find a new place big enough for him and his girls. He finds suitable housing, and, because he never had much conern for appearances, he leaves the choices for the interior design to the girls and doesn't give it a second thought, because they're happy with the choices they made.

when i lived at my old house before my family and I moved. we had NO dishwasher and it was a family of 8 (including me and parents) it was a cramped house (especially the kitchen it was cramped and so busy) plus my older siblings having sleepovers at our house was just CHAOS… 😂 but I ❤ this build! super cute and adorable!! i love the idea of single dad and 4 daughters!! this really made me laugh because you didn’t have the dishwasher to fit.. and you had trouble with the table and I just love this apartment!!

Dad is trying hard after losing his wife to an unfortunate Cowplant incident. He tried to keep the home. He sold a few things, the second bike, the bedroom set his wife picked out. He didn't want to sleep in it with out her any ways. Eventually, he had no choice but to sell the family home to be able to go part-time at work and be with the girls. The girls. They have been putting on a brave front, but he see right through it. His eldest has really stepped up, sharing a room now, tending to the little ones and helping with the dishes at night. He wonders if it is it at the cost of her childhood? No,not on his watch! He is going to make sure the girls still get to do their things and be kids. He is going to make this work.

My parents divorced when I was young, every other weekend we go to his house. Idk what you call it but it’s one of those ones that has two floors and we live on the top, and someone else lives on the bottom floors(it’s separated and your meant to live like that). Me and my sister have a 6 year age gap, I’m a pre-teen she’s (18 so an adult). We mean the world to our dad and we love him sm. It’s a 2 bedroom so me and my sister share a room and it’s quite small, we have a bunk bed(I get the bottom but I prefer it that way tbh) we have one bathroom, a kitchen with no dishwasher, and a living room. And yes, our dad is single. ❤ he spends as much time as he can with us and is so supportive.

A father, still mourning the loss of his wife about 6 months ago who sold the house to but an apartment in the city for him and his four daughters. He loves his daughters dearly and would do anything to make them happy. 12-Year-Old Yasemin and 7-Year-Old Kinsley are best of friends despite their large age difference. They share a bedroom, being bright pink colors because of the youngest loving the color pink and Art. Sport-loving Yasemin was actually adopted at the age of 4, when her parents were only 22 years old, looking for a child of their own to love and care for! 3-Year-Old twins, Millie and Willow love the colors pink and purple! They are very energetic but clingy and both have some sort of learning difficulty, possibly from losing their mother or just have a disibility. Despite that, they are social and always cheerful and motivated!

I relate to the Pre-Teen so much, you basically told my story. When my mother left it was traumatic, but I grew, after a very long time of wondering what I did wrong. After that I gave my siblings everything my mom never gave us. I ended up having little to nothing, apart from my own phone up until I got a job, and even then everything went ro them. I wanted to make their childhood beautiful, and it started with accepting what was and bringing on what could be. I forgive my mom, I get it. Motherhood is hard, and I have empathy for what she was going through during that time. I just want to thank you for this video, I love this apartment, and I adore the story. Thank you for bringing light to one of the realities of a lot of kids' childhoods! 🫶

I’m one of 6 kids and we never had a dishwasher and since I was the oldest and since my parents had me super young I was always in charge. They would just leave me there and I’d have to do all the dishes my brothers left.

I made a story lion for them. Cuz uhh adhd.. cant focus. 😂 Ok so the mom passed wile giving birth to the youngest child I’m just going to call them 1-4 (1 oldest 4 youngest) the oldest 2 girls really like music and art and just being creative. Taking after there mom who was an artist before she passed. The toddlers never really knew there mom because they were so young when she passed so they have more of there own personality. After the mom passed it was really hard on 1 and 2 because they were REALLY close with there mom wile as number 1 just started puberty. There mom isn’t there to help so dad has to take over the role and help her. Wile 2, 3 and 4 all do there own things. 1 and the dad become really close and cope together. 2 was also younger when there mom passed so she doesn’t remember much and dose her own thing. Wile 1 and 2 also are on the same dance team they become really close bonding over many things Dance, Art, music ect. 3 and the little ones are also slot closer because they had time to spend together wile dad was helping 1 with many many things going on. 1 on the other hand doesn’t care for 4 because in her mind 4 was the reason for her mothers death even tho it was in no way 4s fault. 1 kinda doesn’t care what the 2 dose so just lets her do whatever in the future making them REALLY close. Idk if this is even realistic but to bad. 😂
