Btw you could replace the hopper where the items are stored with a chest/barrel to get 27 possible actions, you just have to make the hopper above it to point down

That is an awesome idea! I'll have to check how many items it takes to have a barrel reach 2 on a comparator output next time I'm at my computer and I'll test it out. Thanks for the suggestion :)
