I love that Julian has a doll to play with. Usually parents say that girls have maternal instincts and that it’s why they should play with them. Firstly, girls want toys they see on advertisements that are “for girls”. My sister wants to play with trucks and space related toys, and once at the toy store, a man said “what are you gonna do with them” which made me furious. Secondly, boys also should learn about parenting one day. That’s why most fathers think that caring for a child is only the mother’s job. I also hate it when women say “yeah my husband helps me with the kids”. No, it’s not “helping”. He is looking after his own kid, not the neighbour’s. Why did I get mad all of a sudden? Anyway, I love watching this family.

💯 exactly. Dude that's your house, it's not called helping your wife/mom/sister, it's your responsibility to clean/ tidy etc. and take care of your kid as much as it is your wife's responsibility. And unfortunately who raise their sons this way is other mothers. Let's break the freaking chain!!!

I think Luca is getting taller and taller, cannot believe that I have been following you guys since Luca even has not started his first grade. Julian is becoming more handsome and handsome each day. Just so you know, Mel, when I saw that you had your breakfast by sitting next to Julian, it comforted me a lot, it reminded me of when I was still at school, whenever I went home, I sat in the kitchen talking to my late mom a bunch of things, non-important stuff and that made my days and felt kinda protected. It’s been a complete life change. Not just because of being alone, but pandemic plus my big kid being an emotional mess after dad left. It’s been heartbreaking day in and day out. I don’t think I’ve had time to do me things as of yet! Thank you ♥️♥️
