@ hey love 💕 I’ve known emergency services here in DC to take months…non-emergencies years. Definitely never seen anyone placed same day, and I used to work an outpatient facility that serviced unhoused and lower income. You’re very blessed 🙏🏾✌🏽❤️

@ But this is just Shelter services though not actual housing placement. But I still agree being blessed. 😇

@oh I know it’s a shelter it’s still a wait here for units like that. It took months for my folks to get into the Geraldine and then it’s a whole trap. Glad you got in, be safe, and enjoy 😊

Do you get to stay in that apartment as long as you want? And be careful with telling random strangers you’re not from there. You don’t want people taking advantage of you and your babies.

At Soc Svs in house shoes 😅...just arrived and got an apt in NY...do you know people pay thousands a months for a shoe box sized apartment... something is tragically wrong with this picture 😢
