food banks are only suppose to be used as a supplement not for a weeks or months worth of groceries...they do the best they can so yes sometimes things are not always going to be good...but what do you expect from FREE...

If you ever get bags of nuts of any kind, please keep all nuts in the freezer. Nuts have oil and they can spoil. I keep mine in jars and bags in my freezer.

you should never wash your fruit all at once dont wash it until you're going to eat it and keep the rest in the refrigerator...when you wash all of them at once they go bad faster
