So sad that people in this country can’t afford to build their homes with bricks and mortar if they have to suffer storms like this that can just wipeout their homes.Don’t get me wrong I greatly admire the houses they build but how they sleep on such hard bamboo mattresses just amazes me. They always look so uncomfortable. Their simple way of life, cooking, eating, surviving is fascinating especially for a Westerner like me who has all my creature comforts available and would have found it really difficult to bring up 3 children like this woman is doing. Everything in her home has a purpose, it isn’t filled with useless Knick knacks and ornaments, just the things she needs in order to survive. I greatly admire these women.
