Hi ly. I am heart broken too now that this kind young man is leaving to pursue his career. One thing is clear that is, he cares for you and laura and has feelings for you. So your feelings is reciprocated. For his kindness God has rewarded him with better career opportunities. He made a rational decision to accept the offer for a better future. So try not to be too disappointed or sad. You are a good person for thinking kind thoughts and be happy for him.
