I didn’t understand any of it, except that I did understand 1) how to identify the running winding wires, and 2) that I need to swap those two over. And motor is running the way I need it now thanks…

Take Multi meter and measure resistance which is having higher resistance value that is running winding and low resistance value is starting winding in video he has given wrong connection is correct

@@samarsekharreddyNo, the starter winding is thinner wire and has higher resistance. The running winding uses thicker wire which has lower resistance.

my motor has 4 wires. 2 for line input +/- and other two for capacitor. When I changed the supply +/- position at reverse, no rotation changed.

Usually we change the terminals of starting winding for the reversal of the 1Ph motors. More over you didn't explained how to change the rotation if there are only 3 wires came out of the motor..ie : Common Running Starting

Sir, isnt that the lowest Resistance is of the Starting Coil? The higher Resistance one is of the Running coil? In the video you mention it in the other way round...🤔

But Im confused there are service tech saying that some 'smaller motors', where the Running/Main Coil is alrdy winded using Small sized winding wires; then the Starting Coil won't be winded with Thinner winding wires anymore. Because the design of its motor Windings Ratio of Main(running) to Aux(starting) Windings will make the windings at the Start Coil SHORTER, so the end measured result for this kind of Motor typically will result the Aux(Start) Coil having Lower resistance relative to the Main(running) coil. Im confused & need clarification for this🙏
