That verse in Ecc 4, was spoken over our braided wedding rings, almost 21 years ago. Dating: Keep it slow. Keep it low key. Leave mystery. Don't reveal everything...give it time. I know the principle behind what he is saying. However...you gotta get real and be real soon after those first few dates! Because.... Unfortunately, concealment what everything for him, I heard a bombshell a few weeks before we got married and he lied about it when I asked him why he didn't tell me! Literally right after the honeymoon and I found out he was a scary, angry man! He held out until we got married :( LADIES...listen to me. Talk to his friends, listen to how he acts with the people closest to him; when he doesn't think you are watching him. Listen to what he says about his last girlfriend/wife. Does he say she was crazy? Ak him why he was with her, if she was so crazy. You NEED to go deep! Not after you fell in LOVE!! But after those first few dates you were taking it easy :) I want to save you the pain of finding out all the deep crap after your married ~ I am now going through divorce from a so called Christian/someone who couldn't live in The Power of The Holy Spirit! Aggresive, arrogant pride and selfishness stood beside my stbx, whenever I asked a question, wanted to share my concerns or resolve an issue; whispering in his ear telling him, I was an object to be used and abused and not to listen to. It took years to put his puzzle pieces together, b/c he lied/deceived me during our dating ! He covered his baggage up so much that it was bulging out of his suitcase. "He must have been a miserable single, and selfish friend (yep! Only to get something from what they had to give him! Wish I saw that a long time ago!)" True...TY Pastor Jabin! Pastors and counselors told me (focus was always on me) encourage more, to pray more, respect more, love more, submit more, be more intimate. Marriage was put on a pedestal, instead of my safety and my sanity. Only marriage mattered to them not my heart and his controlling ways were of no importance. I did all of what they tld me to do and more to save my marriage... but it didn't matter! He was fighting, pushing and hating ...so I would finally say---enough is enough after 20 years of his control and manipulation for me to obey him! SO he could return to batchelor-hood. NOW is the happiest I have ever seen him. He hated the responsibility/giving/serving/cherishing/living with her in an understanding way/being co-heirs with Christ ~ Representing Christ and the church in our marriage~ it was way too hard for him ! Psalm 55 He really wasn't a miserable single...he was "livin the life!!"! Loving one another comes from loving GOD and yourself first♥ PLEASE when you are dating ... Be real! Don't conceal, And reveal who you really are---be true to yourself and to your date. Don't open that suitcase after you are googly-eyes in love!~ We are intelligent to make the right decision after seeing all the cards on the table!

Naomi it means pray for them!! God doesn’t want us to be without community, so if you ask for it he’ll provide that for you!! A year and a half ago I had no Christian friends or family and didn’t belong to a church. God blessed me with an amazing church to belong to and call home and has blessed me with the most amazing sisters and brothers in Christ 💓 I’m now at church literally four times a week going to different connect groups and meeting new people all the time. Push yourself to get out there and actually try. Pray about it, but also act about it. New friends won’t just knock on your front door, you get them by building community 💓💓💓 praying for a community for you!
