nice video! have a aimrite vendetta double roller 145 for my bluewater breakaway setup.... have a 115 aimrite vendetta single roller on the way. Have been shooting rob allens for years traditional 2 bands but making the leap to single roller for the reef hunting

i got nothing else to say, i have SR and IR from unko, they both working very well and land me bigger fishes. but i do want to say is, your dive buddy is really dependable, every time you accend he was half way there as if he was about to do a rescue dive.🎉

Is this the ermes double roller muzzle? If so how do you avoid wishbones dragin the tail of the spear up at the muzzle, as it would result in low shots?

Just some advice from an old spearo. The rings on your fingers are dangerous. You can get trapped if reaching in a hole. And also line can get trapped on finger easier. So that’s just my advice.

Great video! Do you mind sharing what rubber setup you use for the single and double? I assume thicker diameter for double if you find it harder to load

I use 2 14mm reactive rubbers for double roller and 1 16mm reactive rubber for single roller

how do you explain the "zero recoil" when a 500 gr mass is accelerating forward?

@@dronurergun I mean there still is some recoil sorry if I said “zero recoil” but definitely way way less then a conventional gun. Im not sure the exact physics behind it but has to do with the rubbers energy being dispersed from the top of the gun around to underside of the gun.

So the single roller I was using a 7mm shaft. The double roller would overpower a 7mm shaft causing shaft whip and loss of range and accuracy

You say become a better spearfisher rather than buying a longer/better gun but the amount of fish I have missed because my spear doesn't get to the fish fast enough and they have reacted and dodged the spear. I'm getting a roller gun!!

@@bigchungus7807 mostly matters what youre comfortable with pros and cons to both rollers and conventional. Conventional guns actually have a faster shaft speed when exiting the muzzle making close range shots quicker. Rollers can excel on at range just takes longer for the shaft to get up to speed.

Have the habit of not wearing. If I’m catching fish consistently my hands will get pretty cut up shoving my hands into the fish gills. I have nothing against gloves it’s just another thing to remember. Certain trips I make sure I have them. Only plus I can see to not wearing gloves is you have feel your trigger/safety for possibly faster reaction time.

For the double roller I use 2 sets of 14mm small ID reactive rubbers. For single roller I use 1 set of 15mm small ID reactive rubbers. I get my rubbers through unkolearnuhow.com they are mannysub rubbers.
